"He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life" -Muhammad Ali

Teamwork is the key to success in adventure racing. That is why Gerber Gear has assembled an elite team for 2006.

If you want to fight your way through alligator swamps for four days only to be ranked with teams who were short coursed and actually shuttled PAST YOU, then I would recommend this race to you; if not, read my report and don’t waste your time or money on this race…

Florida Coast-to-Coast: Central Florida
Date: May 26-28, 2006
TGG Ranking: 1st place solo, 2nd place overall (one of only two teams to complete entire course)
Events: Kayaking (in Swamps), Mountain Biking (in soft sand), Trekking (Mixture of above two), Gator avoidance, Ranking teams who were short coursed with teams who finished full course!
10 day's in the desert...why did I sign up for this?

Because its fun! Okay, it won't seem like it at the time, but afterwards it does...
Make sure you check out all the action as team Gerber Gear (team #58) races over 500 miles in the 2006 Primal Quest, starting in Moab, Utah. You can track everything by going to our team page where they will have live GPS tracking. Just think, for your benefit we have to carry a big GPS unit and satellite phone...thanks!
